Activities

The Agency has performed several Projects concerning earth sciences, topographic survey, mapping, consulting, designing and construction as follows:
· Provision of geohazard status identification and data collection along Pipeline
- Quick visual survey (recognition) in purpose of pipeline corridor statuse assessment in terms of erosion slopes, landslides and tectonic faults;
- Detailed sketching of erosion sites of class 4,5,6 and topographic survey of
major complicated slopes;
- Soil sampling and grain size analyses;
- Detailed topographic survey of high and medium risk landslides;
- Detailed geomorphological mapping of the surveyed landslides and erosion slopes;
- Producing of the tectonic maps;
- Providing rainfall information for each areas;
· Pipeline/River Crossing Inspection for pipe exposure risk identification and quantitive risk assessment.
· Consulting service by world leading scientists in erosion and landslides
(prof. R. Morgan, dr. M. Hann, prof. P. Fookes, dr. M. Lee);
· Erosion Control Design along pipelines
· Suffosion Control Design along pipelines;
· Road Failure Remediation Design
· Construction of slope and galley erosion control measures such as:
- Double wicker fence check-dams;
- Gabion check-dams;
- Gabion retaining walls;
- Diverter berms;
- Lined (rip-rap) channels;
